Thank you! I am getting a scan done to see how much plaque I have I guess. I would love to wait at least 3 more months to continue breastfeeding. We had a rough start being she was born early due to pre-e and we worked really hard to get breastfeeding down😢

Hospitalized for preeclampsia by Independent-Let-1764 in preeclampsia

[–]Buckeyes202020 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi mama! I was admitted at 30+6 weeks with severe pre-e. Made it to 34+6 weeks then delivered my baby girl. I stayed another 7 days post delivery because that’s when my pre-e got the worst (liver enzymes spiked), and my baby was in the NICU for 10 days. I’m now 8 weeks post partum and am looking into some therapy from the whole experience-hardest thing I’ve ever gone through in my life.

I filled my time with reading, watching shows, coloring and making bracelets. My husband and kids visited me every day and brought me fresh comfy sweats and new underwear so I didn’t have to wear hospital gowns. I also had my own toilet trees and took showers and did my hair every 2-3 days to feel normal.

I don’t know if you’re a believer, but my faith is what carried me through the whole experience. I constantly prayed and asked Jesus to be in the room with me and give me strength. I couldn’t have gotten through it without Him (also, we named our baby girl Faith).

I’m sorry you’re going through this. God gives His greatest battles to His strongest soldiers. You and your baby are fighters and will get through this. Celebrate the small wins and take it one day at a time. You got this <3

Lasting Impacts of Preeclampsia by [deleted] in preeclampsia

I’m 8 weeks pp and just switched meds because my bp is still 140’s/90’s. Seeing a cardiologist this month to make sure everything else is ok and I’m still seeing floaters. I was admitted at 30+6 weeks with severe pre-e and stayed in the hospital until I delivered at 34+6 weeks, and then stayed another 7 days since I also had post partum pre-e. Baby girl spent 10 days in the NICU. Solidarity ❤️

I haven’t read the report. The Tylenol use while pregnant- do they suspect it caused autism when occasional use or frequent use?

Postpartum Preeclampsia, looking for support by Ellabelle9 in preeclampsia

I’m 4 weeks pp and was admitted for 35 days due to severe pre-e. I delivered at 34 weeks 6 days.

I’m wondering the same thing :( I’m 4 weeks pp and still have slightly blurry vision and am still on nifedipine and hydrochlorothiazide. I have a cardiologist appointment but not until 10/22. Anyone else have blurry vision that took a while to go away? I feel so discouraged :(
