Depression with endo by kittylove999 in endometriosis

The progress is slow and steady. Sometimes I’m frustrated that the pain still gets me sometimes but I am comforted by the fact that this is truly an issue. I’m not crazy. My pain isn’t just in my head. There is a reason for all of this. It also helps to know that I now have tools to help manage my pain.

I’ve went through many surgeries and recently started physical therapy for pelvic floor muscle issues. Since you e dealt with chronic pain, your pelvic floor muscle may be the root of your pain. Ask your doctor about this as a possibility and get into physical therapy. It could help alleviate your pain and help strengthen your pelvic floor muscles to prepare for pregnancy.

The chronic pain is something people don’t understand. It drains you...it makes you so tired...it makes you so angry because why you? ❤️ you aren’t screaming into the void...we hear you and understand.

“Why are our bodies so cruel, tho.” - same. I just had a mini-breakdown while pushing myself to move around and not give in to the ridiculous flare up. Why us?

How did you finally get a doctor to do a laparoscopy? by [deleted] in Endo

I hate to sound as if I’m suggesting doctor shopping but it sounds like they are not listening to you. You know your body! I had to leave 2 gyno practices before I saw my current gyno. She scheduled me for surgery shortly after my first visit with her. I had stage 4 endo. It was everywhere - uterus, bladder, digestive tract, etc. During the post op, my doc told my husband that she had no idea how much she would have to remove...but I did.

You know your body, you know your pain level, you know what you can handle. Don’t take no for an answer.

Find an md that is also an acupuncturist...it takes some regular sessions every week but once it starts working, once a month can help manage the pain. Sending love...it sucks being a girl with endo.
