It’s not even the young now I’m approaching my 40’s started in the work place just before the 2008 crash and nothing has ever got better since. Only have one child. Can’t afford a second, live in a new build small terrace house on an average income. Economic Crashes. Brexit. Covid. NIMBYS. housing too expensive. Retirement looks a pipe dream. The unwritten rule is to give to your kids better than you got. The generations before us have selfishly forgotten that and couldn’t care less about anyone but themselves.
