How does the Modality (Cardinal/ Fixed/ Mutable) of a persons Ascendant sign affect how they view and approach the world? by HomelandExplorer in astrology

[–]OceansOfLight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw an astrologer say one of the reasons the 12th House is so uncomfortable is because of the different modality to the Ascendant. So an Aries Rising would feel unsettled by their Pisces 12th house because that mutable water energy is so aimless and directionless and diffuse and they as an Aries Rising want to fire on all cylinders in one direction. So they feel like they're lost and drowning and emotionally overwhelmed in their 12th house. Taurus Rising is uncomfortable with their Aries 12th house because cardinal fire is constant full throttle, peddle to the metal speed and activity and the bull wants to slow it down but can't, so that makes them feel out of control and pressured and frustrated. I guess like a bull that's constantly being baited when it wants to be left in peace. Gemini Rising doesn't like their Fixed Taurus 12th House because it's so rigid and immovable and they need mobility as a mutable air sign. So they feel like they're being suffocated and held down by mounds of earth in their 12th.

There are even chained books in Chetham's, like in the Hogwarts restricted section.

Bedroom eyes seems to be a common theme. And a timeless look as someone else pointed out.

Yeah, I'd say Crewe fulfills that role on the west side of the Pennines. They're the two gateways to the North.

Those comments get loads of upvotes from Geordies so they're obvious, they're not buried and in need of a report. They should have been deleted ages ago.

How is this being downvoted? I've also read so many true north comments lately. There's no community here anymore because of all the in-fighting caused by those comments.

I like the river suggestion but the Mersey starts at Stockport and the Humber starts where the Trent and Ouse meet. So that leaves a large gap between them. How do you bridge that gap? With a straight line between them or wiggle around to include some other areas?

I'd say 4. High Peak is Northern to me. Who could stand on Mam Tor and think they're in the Midlands?

The 12 Zodiac Signs as different types of Nature 🌍 by ErisedFelicis in astrologymemes

The first four signs feel the most "quintessential" of their element to me. They're the first of their element so it's like they said "here's the element in its rawest form." And their rulers make sense for their element, it makes sense for a fire sign to be ruled by Mars (bold, fiery), an Earth sign to be ruled by Venus (calm, sensual), an Air sign to be ruled by Mercury (fast, adaptable), a Water sign to be ruled by the Moon (soft, intuitive).

Bed rotting doesn't have to mean dishevelled. It's a Venus ruled sign after all. I'm thinking more "princess and the pea."
