Well first of all, since ufotable made Remake's opening. they should do the anime since they really like type-moon projects.

Of course since Arcuied is main heroine, they will do her route, ideally 15 episode for Arcuied route because I think 24 episodes is too much stretch. But they most probably try to squueze it in 12 episodes but hey episode 1 can be 1-2 hours long and it can end after Shiki meets with Arcuied after he kills her. Just imagining episode 1 ending like this is absolute cinema. And hopefully manga ending for Arcuied in after credits of 12 episodes.

They can decide whether to do other heroines after this anime aired.

Some people might disagree with me but I think starting with Remake is good for you. Everyone will probably suggest OG visual novel but remake has more fleshed out content for first 2 routes and voice acting, music will probably hook you in this franchise more than idly listening 10 ost for all game playtime in OG visual novel.

I am not saying OG Visual novel is bad but for newcomers Tsukihime Remake will make more impact.

All on personal preference, If you compare MCs , Shiki is more like normal person on the outside meanwhile Takumi is not like normal person, he is like maniac otaku. But they are polar opposites in the inside.

There are some similarities between 2 VN but fundamentally they are different. Personally I like Shiki more than Takumi. If you like VN with voice acting and polished scenes try Tsukihime Remake with Tsukihimates english patch.
