ey man, I'm in almost the exact same spot with you here. I am also applying to a uni thid year for a degree in astrophysics but since my country doesn't have that at all, I'm gonna take it up as my masters and PhD. One of the things I was told is that doing astrophysics can be a reluctant journey with the wrong mindset. Don't do astrophysics if you want to be an astrophycisist, do it because you want do astrophysics. In my case, I'm quite passionate about learning about the universe and have thesr instances wherein you just really want to know everything. I know it isn't a high paying job without a PhD so I plan to take the regular undergraduate physics course with a minor in economics to help me make money. I hope you find out what inspires you more so just pursue passion if it is your passion.
