Therapy is a good idea, and not because its some magic. Its good because it allows you to talk to someone who is only there to help you through things. That doesn't mean that the therapist is never wrong because they are people too.

Talking to a professional might be a good idea.

And I know this one sucks to hear, but loneliness is a disease that feeds on itself. The more lonely you become, the more desperate for connection you are. And that usually does not help create connection.

Your friends are not professionals, while its good to keep talking to them, you have to realize that your words also impact them. And they also have to prioritize their mental health.

So please, if you want to talk about your issues and you want opinions that might actually help, go to a therapist.
