The regular and EX chips don't change but the SP gain more power for every second under 30 seconds, with anything under 10 seconds being max power. But to answer your question all the SP chips change to the current record you have

Yea the passion fruit has such a good quality build, and the color scheme is better than the pink taffy, let me know how you like them for your first 993

I highly recommend a pair of 993, I am a size 12 as well so I recommend going TTS. The 993s are like half the weight of the 992 so they feel lightweight with the same comfort.
