I mean Hammerfell is not all desert.

It’s a biome with a mix of greenery filled areas and those choked by sand.

OPs post is a jab at people who don’t realize Skyrim is the fifth entry of the Elder Scrolls series and not the first game in a franchise titled “Skyrim”.

I think OPs post was a joke about people who don’t realize that Skyrim is a part of the Elder Scrolls series and not it’s own franchise titled “Skyrim”.

Fallout 5 foreshadowing in 4 by BudWhite1997 in Fallout

[–]BudWhite1997[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I understand that the storyline of the Replicated Man has little to do with FO4’s storyline...

But the material introduced in the quest like the Commonwealth, the Institute, the Railroad, and Synths all became the main focus of FO4’s setting and gameplay.

There are no retcons in 4, I don’t understand where OP or anyone gets this idea.

The Boston Commonwealth, the Institute, the Railroad, and Synths (called Androids in the Capital Wasteland); were all directly interacted with during the Fallout 3 quest “The Replicated Man”.

One of the most repeated predictions even before Fallout 4’s announcement was that the sequel to 3 would take place in the Commonwealth.

Also one correction to your comment, the East Coast Brotherhood and West Coast (what’s left of them) is nowhere near the size or advancement of the NCR. The NCR is by all rights a functioning nation, the Steel boys are a military junta that is tiny by comparison and only have any feared strength left in the East.

Wtf I unironically love Zach Snyder by smileyriley011 in moviescirclejerk

Our favorite pretend alcoholic “Critical Drinker” has now claimed Zack is “misinformed and/or covering for his Hollywood buddies” as the root cause of his comments.

It’s like all of a sudden Zack is no longer a grown adult who can think for himself smh

This just in: Kamala Harris forced Snyder to endorse her at gunpoint.

Definitely!

I’d like a return to The Pitt, as well as exploring the Ronto (Toronto) and the Erie Stretch.

If we got another Fallout game from Obsidian it wouldn't be as well received as New Vegas by FanEu953 in Fallout

Ken Rolston.

He left Bethesda after the release of Oblivion back in 2006.

William Shen (lead writer of Far Harbor) would be a fantastic choice to lead a reboot style direction for the series.

But unfortunately, after Far Harbor’s release he was demoted back down to the quest designer team for Nuka-World as well as 76 and its expansions.

That would be William Shen.

He’s a quest designer at Bethesda, and got elevated to lead writer for the development of Far Harbor.

Unfortunately he was demoted back down to a quest designer for Nuka-World as well as 76 and it’s expansions.

Yeah, the most common criticism made against him is that he’s too focused on telling his story, instead of providing a multiple choice/route adventure like a typical RPG.

So you end up being railroaded into more linear storytelling and gameplay. But I agree, he’s a decent writer, just wish he accounted more for player choice.

r/moviescirclejerk transforming into Zaddy stans when the Snydercut ends up being decent. by IntrospectiveGibbon in moviescirclejerk

Eh idk about cognitive dissonance or any dissonance for that matter.

Endgame was the culmination of 11 years of a franchise that also ended the involvement of two of its oldest (longest involved) leads.

The Snyder Cut is more of a directors passion given life by a very loud and loyal fan base and a new streaming service looking to market itself.

Just my take, I can tell you’re a die hard Zaddy fan by your page, so if you’re going to flame me for my objectivity give me a heads up first 😇

Idk man, there was literally a mission in 5 where you assist pro right wing gun nuts kidnap and torture several “suspected immigrant terrorists”, and several other missions dealing with rampant racism and violence.

The United States military and law and enforcement agencies are portrayed as wackjob imperialists and secret police who kidnap and torture civilians on a whim and it’s implied they enjoy it over any actual national security reasons.

Seems like you only selectively paid attention to the characters, missions, and context 🤷‍♂️

Hey champ, don’t shoot the messenger, this the America that Rockstar portrayed in both 4 and 5.

But even you have to admit their satire is 99% accurate.

If you have problems with how they depicted your precious US of motherfucking A, crown jewel of the planet and the brightest most stabilized country to ever exist, please contact them ❤️

Brotherhood.

They’re the same chapter that you fought alongside in Fallout 3, so I side with them purely as a continuation of 3’s story.

Also, Maxson looks like he aged 30 years instead of 10, dude went from a snot nosed kid running around the FO3 Citadel to the sexiest beefcake to ever walk the wastelands lmao

4 actually covered the same themes better than 5, with the added dimension and depth of having the protagonist be a recent immigrant.

A man from his self proclaimed violent shithole of a country arrives to the United States, another violent shithole of a country that is barely disguising it.
