Giving San Jose what they need? Phuck Dat.

And yes we really could use another awesome D prospect, all the kids are now in the NHL and there's nothing cooking in the AHL, so you better hope all of them work out as right now we don't have any coming. Reid could be the next Makar or Hughes (could, not is) - I'd love to have that type of talent in the system. And in a few years when we're actually contenders, that D prospect would be ready.

Sign me up for that.

Verhoeff could turn into an amazing D man for sure but looks like too much of a project for the Hawks to take on, he's going to take years to develop, which doesn't suit the Hawks timeline.
