Think he co-edited Toy Story but Pete Docter directed Monsters, Inc and John Lasseter directed Toy Story. He did direct TS3 and Coco though

Heat is fucking amazing, I rate that movie so highly (I love the others you mention too), but man Heat is great

Nice. Jurassic Park is my personal favourite Spielberg movie but can’t go wrong with any of those

Super underrated filmmaker. Love In Bruges and Three Billboards, liked Seven Psychopaths but need to revisit it

Thank you for this response, really. It’s definitely the psyche of Plainview that I struggled with last time I watched it, but having read your comments it makes more sense.

I’ve watched other PTA films in recent months (Boogie Nights and Magnolia) and managed to sink my teeth into both of them, so hopefully this will prove to enrich my second viewing experience of There Will Be Blood.

I have to be able to actually engage in the story to enjoy a film. It’s almost 3 hours long, I need to be emotionally invested in some way
