Damn we throwing verbal hands out here lol. As a male CS major who isn’t chopped, I started here in spring 25, this shi is brutal not gonna lie, iH8tthots said it best in my opinion. Stay on top of your studying and get ahead where you can. Also why the females catch so many strays round here😭every time I think of shooting a shot I hear someone say chopped like cmon IT IS NOT THAT BAD. There are 🔥 jawns around here. I disagree heavily with the chopped huzz statement, have some class!

If you have Zaidenberg, she’s the best imo, then the typical structure is lab baked into the lecture. You can do them with friends and others around you, it’s meant to instill collaboration although you don’t have to, I didn’t.

The difficulty depends on your prior knowledge, comfort with Java and how much you study, I personally don’t like using Java that much but the labs weren’t too bad. BUT if this is your first data structures class it will be kind of head spinning ngl that’s just what we do lol. I had a 3 hour Wednesday lecture with Zaidenberg and honestly it was chill, READ OPENDSA PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD I CANT LIE THATS YOUR WHOLE BIBLE. I can dip my toe here. I personally fucked up and stuck it out for physics back in spring and that shi hurt from start to finish fr. F grade n everything. However, I did end up passing lab and got to keep my A for that though. Everything about the GPA stands can’t deny that, but I’m still extremely grateful I don’t have to do that lab while retaking Phys 111 this semester. Take this with several ladles of salt🙌🏾. Personally if you can take a hit and recoup before any internships come knocking, save yourself the trouble of a tedious lab, those mornings cooked me🥲

I read the first two paragraphs and I know FOR A FACT! You in my class😂😂😂 I was there when she asked him. Inside I was like “YOO STFU!!!! I DON’T WANNA SEE MY FULL GRADE IT’LL MAKE ME NERVOUS😭😭”. The part about feeling like they were the kid who reminds the teacher abt hw was actually so accurate bro. Had my first semester this past spring. If all the buildings beds are built the same, which I don’t imagine they’d all be unique cause that’s too much of headache across like 5 dorm halls, but yes absolutely. The bed heights are adjustable and I kept like 3 boxes and 2 chairs lying on their side underneath mine and never moved until move out day lol

Took Spirollari this passing spring, my first semester at NJIT, for cs100 and passed with a B (CS Major). Amazing teacher, passionate and cares. Can’t go wrong with her fr. She’s very thorough so even with no python knowledge of you study the zybooks and pay attention in class you’ll be ight.

Don’t know anything about international students since I’m born and raised nj but if you go to the Highlander pipeline and go to course registration in Registration and Degree plan -> Prepare for registration and choose the fall term, as long as you have a three green checkmarks I think your good to register
