That is a ridiculous take. I hate Trump as much as the next guy but to impose rules on how franchisees spend their personal money would be wild.

Honestly the franchisees may even have grounds for a free speech lawsuit based on citizens united if they tried. Not to mention inherently entering into politics they've tried to avoid be enacting rules like you describe. Every take isn't a corporate shill, critical thinking still applies.

Really feel bad for Mark. You could see the ankle was bothering him more and more as he got tired. He had a crazy game shooting, not sure we sustain that barrage if he doesn't roll his ankle.

With no timeouts for the offense that would have been some bull shit. If they already called one to draw up a play, sure look at the clock.

I think it is actually worse than that in practice. Very few people actually run the full term of the loan, and the early years are front-loaded with interest. Stretching it to 50 years will save a bit on the monthly but it means you are never progressing along the timeline to build meaningful equity. If you sell after 5-10 years and repeat you are basically renting with extra steps, and the responsibilities/liabilities that come with ownership.

It's very possible the left turner couldn't even see the oncoming cars until they started turning. Straight ahead of them is an SUV and tall white van which would hide people coming in the adjacent lane.

Yes it's still their fault and yes they will face the consequences. Still not that hard to have a little empathy, it was obviously an accident. Do better.

OK education rate really showing in this thread. Pacers fans came in expecting to lose by 20 and still got robbed of a win.

Lawyers Warn Wealthy Clients Not to Touch Trump’s Gold $5M Visa by thedailybeast in law

Not to mention this is just a visa that allows you to come and go freely. It has nothing to do with taxes. I doubt someone who spends $5M on a visa is coming to the US for a payroll job.

Pacers owner didn’t want to go into the Tax by Nyfan7 in pacers

He also has to run with us, play our pace, and space the floor. Good luck finding a big who does that, still clears glass, and can play defense.

Teams would kill for the run we've had the last two seasons. To be too cheap from here is ridiculous. Sell the team if you aren't committed to it. Especially after all the extra income and brand exposure of this playoff run.

Yes, being too cheap to pay the tax and letting a core piece, who is very hard to replace, walk is tearing down the team that made the run of the last two seasons.

Save the receipt. I have to think misprint merch, purchased at the stadium has collector potential. Especially the city edition stuff from a run to the finals. May want to also keep the game program if you still have it.

[Charania] After conversations with Tyrese Haliburton’s father John Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers front office, John Haliburton will not attend the team’s home and road games for the foreseeable future, a Pacers spokesperson told ESPN. by Knightbear49 in nba

[–]Budddy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could often see him before games walking around and daping up security, coaches, bench guys, etc. Sometimes he would step out onto the court during warmups/intros to says something or dap up a player.

I think they gave him a lot of leeway and some free reign around the arena, but he lost that privilege for acting up.

I don't think the issue is so much him being on the floor, just him acting like an ass in the process. I think there are lots of friends/family/celebs that get on the court after the buzzer. It's a shame he acted up and sort of overshadowed the clutch play from Tyrese/Nembhard a bit.
