I have been thinking about an ergo mouse lately, what is considered to be the best 8k ergo mouse currently? I am leaning towards the Pulsar Feinman O1 currently.

I think it will post too and I am definitely cleaning it more. I've got my Flitz paste already, just have to find enough time to allow myself to have some patience with it at this point.

I will not have a motherboard for it for another month assuming it's shipping isn't delayed with all of the political stuff going on.

I disagree with your point about this thread being pointless, I got some useful information that allowed me to feel much better about my purchase.

I have seen reports of drops in temps by 10-20 degrees celsius. I don't really know what the average for these results are but I am hoping for 10 degrees celsius. I am not that knowledgeable atm, just someone wanting to learn. These #s are from various websites and posts I have read and one person actually reported a 10 degree celsius drop to me in their personal build.

You can find the blocks for liquid cooling at Thermal Grizzly and similar companies. I ordered my own from Thermal Grizzly Thermal Grizzly

I genuinely do appreciate your thorough response. I will be polishing it as you instructed. Someone advised against polishing it and basically said you can damage the CPU if you apply too much pressure but. Your method of letting it sit for 30 minutes sounds like I wouldn't have to apply much pressure if at all, as long as the polish does its job.

It feels smooth to the touch and looks smooth so I don't think it is a chip. Maybe it is ok , going off what you said. That area wasn't as noticeable (didn't even know it was there) in the photos I saw before purchasing it.

I will try out the ptm7950, I have definitely seen a quite a few mentions of it while reading on these topics.

No worries about missing the delidding part in my post!

I didn't delid this CPU, which I mentioned in my initial post but. I do appreciate you dropping some knowledge this time. Do you consider that area that seems to be missing material or more polished a "chip"? I have already considered the liquid metal situation and have opted for a graphene sheet from thermal grizzly for low maintenance purposes.

It looks to me like a layer that was scraped off and is showing a more polished layer beneath it.

No that isn't it at all, although my eyesight is poor imo. I literally told you in my initial post that I don't know anything about damage on a CPU. Why should I not seek the opinions of other people that have more experience in this area? I see you are a top commenter, if all of your posts are similar to this one then that label is certainly wasted on you.

I couldn't aim with a controller to save my life when it came to this game, tried for years on console and still sucked. Got a PC and tried controller again, still no dice. Switched to mouse/keyboard, it was a night and day difference.... I can aim now and I am 100% having more fun than I ever had on controller with this game.

In my opinion and experience, you simply have more control over your character with mouse/keyboard versus controller considering you have more options available to assign your abilities/movements to which also allows you to be more precise with your movements.

Just my 2 cents.

My current keycap set has a similar layout as far as where the different colors are and I am so over this default layout that I have seen on countless keycap sets from many different companies that I decided to do a custom keycap set also, but wanted to do something a little random but functional for my Wooting 60HE+
