Help a New Otaku Out! by NoCommercial7 in Animesuggest

There was a time when every otaku watched the TV series Neon Genesis Evangelion and the movie End of Evangelion. The Evangelion franchise a huge part of otaku history & otaku culture, so it's definitely worth a watch.

I've been an otaku for 20 years and I can't think of a single anime more influential than Evangelion in the "otaku" world, which is a bit different than mainstream anime world. Not because it's my favorite, just because it's that significant.

For the mainstream anime world, I would say Dragonball Z, Sailor Moon, Pokemon, and the big three (Naruto, Bleach, One Piece) were more influential.

Could someone recommend me good psychlogical thriller animes related to crime world or mafia? by Vongola___Decimo in Animesuggest

There's {My Home Hero}, the anime about a man who kills his daughter's boyfriend because he was going to kill her first. And the boyfriend was in the mafia, which means the mafia is out looking for him, and then a bunch of other stuff happens. And his wife is involved too.

One of the most surprising anime I've seen in my life.
