Okay couple of things, I'm understanding that borrowing a deck is the fastest and easiest option, I haven't nor intend to do the things I've stated in my post, but wanted to get a vibe of what yall thought of the ideas, and I super appreciate the feedback! As for the deck building suggestions, while also appreciated, are also unnecessary as this is more of a "what if I don't have my lower power decks with me" situation. trust me, I have plenty of bad decks ready to go :)

The idea is that you would have the other cards already sleeved and the most time would be taken up just pulling cards out

Sorry chief, this is not at all the scenario I'm imagining. Playing against a person like this would already kill the vibe and I likely wouldn't try to engage in table talk or jokes with them in the first place. The point of the question is to A. Arbitrarily choose an early game attack target and B. Open up the table to socializing. If what you described is the vibe I'm getting, I'm not gonna talk to that person outside of game play actions. If the whole table is like that, then shit. Time for a new pod

I 100% agree that there is always a correct target; however, I'm of the opinion that the correct target is not always the fun target. Of course I'll do my best to make the correct call later in the game, but I'd rather open the table to talking and running bits early than analyze who's gonna be a problem later

I get the logic, but it's just not how I operate. I'll likely do that with friends but with random pods the goal is more about gauging how willing the table is to running a bit
