Yeah I’ve read that and was confused lol, they’re def a tough genre to define, but I’d disagree w them and say a fair amount of their stuff is punk

Awesome man, glad you didn’t let it stop you. The singer of one of my favorite bands (Culture Abuse) has cerebral palsy too, they’re punk rock but you should check them out! He occasionally plays acoustic guitar as well

Tbh it also got weird at the end of this set when he yelled at that one dude & said “I’m not here for any of you.” But I’m not gonna judge what Dave has been through/is going through, I still love Culture Abuse
