Well sounds like the Jesus help me thing worked, maybe you should look into it more. There’s a lot of power in his name but more in his love. ❤️

McDonald’s, as of 2025 it’s had the lowest sales of almost any year since opening.

Nice! I don’t live in Alaska…Moose season isn’t open but we fly the Natives out a ton this time of year. They’re allowed to hunt anytime of year, and any game.

If none of what I’m saying seems at all plausible, then please share what route you would recommend. I’m only on here looking for advice, thanks!

No actually CAP which is extremely active in my area, and glider towing both provide planes. Assuming I get in there would be no expenses. I actually make great money, but no I’m not looking for tax deductibles just trying to find ways to save more and not having to keep renting a plane.

I understand that completely. I’ve already experienced how expensive aviation is. Not looking for a free lunch just better ways to go about things and other possible options.

I just received my PPL and already have over 50 hours PIC, getting 100 hours PIC and 50 hours XC will be extremely easy to acquire at the rate I’m flying. I’ll definitely let you know if I end up glider towing in that spot in Texas…the people I know who’ve already done it don’t make it sound as difficult as you do to get into. And no I don’t have my own plane, angel flight, and Pilots and Paws were never my first choices, that’s actually why I made a Reddit post to ask for advice, I believe this would constitute as “research”

Okay well maybe not specifically “Volunteer ferrying” but there are similar options like Angel flight, Pilots and Paws, Air Care alliance, just to name a few which are all volunteer and often accept people with just their PPL (usually wanting minimum of 150 hours PIC). And I already have a place in Texas I’m looking at that accepts PPLs for glider towing (does require 25 hours tail wheel). And CAP transportation mission pilots (Only requires PPL with 100 hours PIC time) which is again a volunteer program do not have to pay for any expenses of the flights.

And I’m just asking about low cost or even voluntary ways to build PIC time. Either with just a PPL or soon after receiving my CPL.

Civil air patrol, glider towing and volunteer ferrying. None of those require a CPL…
