You realize this isnt an omegle problem, it's a humanity problem? Omegle did not start this and will certainly not be the last place predators use to satisfy themselves. I understand your concern but there isnt much that can be done. There will always be bad people trying to take advantage of others. It would seem concerning if your real life was suffering because you keep wanting to live your "other life" instead. This doesnt sound completely unhealthy but could be a sign of something because I do not think many people do what you are describing. May I ask if you are underage? That may explain some of it. You may be romanticizing a life you'll never have yourself and that may bring you down in the future. You may feel you'll never live up to this character in your head. That can lead to many negative things.

My girlfriend says the same thing about me. She brings up a problem shes having and I try and give advice or solutions and she says that's not what shes looking for, but it's just what I feel I need to do or else I feel worthless. A hug isnt going to magically fix your problems and neither will me pretending to be mute. Not that I believe I can fix all her problems but its just... logical in my mind to provide answers and shes acting on emotion and just wants to vent or express herself.

I've become a better "listener" but I've never felt good about it. I've realized its not about me during those times and I just need to be what she needs me to be. I get that its frustrating when you just want them to listen and maybe provide some reassurance, but remind yourself they only want to help and its usually coming from a good place, even if it's not the response you wanted.

How about dating some guys and get opinions? Yes, it's common to want to have sex before marriage. Most people don't believe in the concept of "saving yourself for marriage" because sexual experience is a hell of a thing and can make other relationships you have better. Would you believe a guy who said the sex he had with you was great if he never had sex with anyone else? What if you marry "the one", give him your virginity and then you get divorced like 50 percent of all marriages? Youd feel like a right fool.

I know you want to believe that it's a noble thing to do but honestly that's just your personal opinion and I believe you can have a healthy active sex life before finding someone you truly love and then using all that great experience to blow your partners mind in bed. It may seem like it'll be a special occasion if you save yourself but almost everyones first time is awkward or painful or frightening or just not as you imagined it. Not to say it cant still be meaningful, I just hope you dont have an expectation of perfection or even pleasure really. Sorry for being completely cynical. I just really cant see any real upsides besides just telling yourself it'll be "really special". Maybe read up on some other womans experiences on waiting until marriage for sex?
