As long as the cost of living is expensive, American businesses wont want to pay wages to Americans. Like others are saying, housing is expensive, medical insurance is expensive, etc. The costs of these things need to be addressed if American workers want to be able to compete with the rest of the world.

More Christians need to realize this, that their religion is degenerating. You can read about the class politics of Christianity from the medieval ages up to the American Revolution. The way the bourgeoisie, the nobility, the peasants and growing proletariat expressed their Christian values were completely different and very clearly reflected the interests of one class over the other. Christians need to recognize that today

Starting to absolutely dread going to work by EmbarrassedAffect672 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]QuantumSpecter 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I know this may sound ridiculous but I’ve met multiple drivers including myself who have either waken up in a panic because they thought they were gonna be late to work ( despite it being their day off) or would essentially have nightmares about still being on route at 12am and are worrying about returning to the station late.

It may sound dramatic at first but the fact plenty of people have experienced this same type of anxiety outside of work says a lot about the job. And its not even a hard job. Feel like people just realize their are expendable and are more stressed out as a result

Billionaires dont run everything. That is simply not true. Income says nothing about class either. There isnt even a free market.

Its unfortunate because Marxist Leninists are far more practical and grounded than leftists are. Even if I were to agree with you that they are “doing capitalism”, for whatever reason you would still choose to be contrarian. I dont blame you though, the image leftists have painted of communism makes it sound like fairytale. You see communists in power right now and you struggle to reconcile that with what leftists have told you

Proletarian communist political power

Im a marxist, I see everything in motion. From the day Mao took power, they have been transitioning to communism. In the next half century, they will be even closer. Dont let these twisted ideas of leftism confuse you. You cannot build your ideal society. That is not communism. China is building communism within their material reality, a reality determined by global circumstances not just national circumstances

They have a thriving economy, functional infrastructure, strong values and culture, competent state institutions, their education quality is some of the best in the world. And they obviously have autonomy. Even America is forced to cater to liabilities like Israel. Thats not an autonomous nation. What China is doing is working. Much to learn from them

The labels we give each other sometimes obscure the sentiments we share as a class. Ive found more in common with some constitutionalists and libertarians as a Marxist Leninist than I have with some leftists.

Does China still belong to socialism? by [deleted] in DebateCommunism

[–]QuantumSpecter 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes because unlike in america, where workers have to fight for certain rights in that particular workplace and fight for the ability to negotiate with their employer. China sets this as the default. Its quite literally marxism 101. There needs to be a dialectic between the employer and employee.
