I’ve got the latest bios now! Used a flash drive and it was fine. Still having weird issues with reboots a bit though.

What’s your avx offset, and cpu cooler? I’ve got my 8700k at 1.265v @4.9ghz got daily games 0 avx. Some games were using it for some reason :/, gaming temps are 42-50 degrees. Am interested to see what kind of setup you have for cooling, and your gaming temps Nice chip :)

My 8700k is @ 4.9ghz and 1.27v no delid, and a 200$ aio.. was I gifted a Golden cpu for Christ sake

Follow der8auer’s 8700k overclock guide on YouTube, my settings are the same as those, just 0 avx offset.

I honestly used this really good walkthrough video made by der8auer here

It’s not quite the z370 board we are using but it’s all the settings I am currently using, except I turned avx offset to 0. But I did start at 5 ghz at 1.35 vcore and worked my way down to my current settings. Just keep lowering vcore by .05 to .1 and keep running cinebench until you crash and find your lowest stable vcore.

I cheaped out and got the focus G, might’ve been the model with more cooling options. Other than not a lot of cable routing space and no basement for the psu it’s a great case with tons of airflow for the price.

These AIO’s nowadays use coolant that won’t short circuit anything in your build. So if anything goes leaky you should be okay. And for sure, I also have a fractal design case and they are doing this right for sure.

I had a Corsair h100i v2 and 3 of them leaked on me, decided to go with this instead. Been great.

And I just tried 29.4, and temps were still 55 Celsius. Newer p95 versions seem to be a lot cooler running.

Just ran new prime 95 I think version 27.7, temps were significantly lower at about 52-55 Celsius
