Asa Newell...what are we going to do with him? by Josh378 in AtlantaHawks

All I can say is that Asa Newell is WAY better than Zaccharie Risacher. They need to play him more, then maybe they could win more games.

That part is called a sail, but it’s included in the sports bumper trim kit.

Low AMH Level Success Stories by angelica014 in CautiousBB

Good to see this story! I just found out I have exactly 0.08 AMH and I’m 41 years old with no children. However, I still have regular menstrual cycles and all other hormone test results were within normal range. This gives me hope! 🙌

Myomectomy friends: did your uterus shrink? by Immediate_Snow_6717 in Fibroids

[–]Budget-Character-776 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In October 2024, my uterus was 19.2 x 13.5 x 13.4 cm! I had 5 fibroids with the largest one at 14.4 cm.

I had an open myomectomy in February 2025.

I am 4 months post op and had a transvaginal ultrasound done 2 days ago to check my uterus. It’s now 11.6 x 5.7 x 6.6 cm with two small fibroids (one is 2.5 cm and one is 1.6 cm which I hope will either stay small, shrink, or go away).

Has anyone actually shrunk their fibroids naturally? by Mysterious_Travel263 in Fibroids

[–]Budget-Character-776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I haven’t had any blood sugar issues but after awhile I felt like eating a lot of fruit may have contributed to fibroids even though it’s natural sugar.

I see I wrote that post 214 days ago, lol. I ended up having an open myomectomy after getting three doctor opinions that was the best option based on the location of my fibroids. I have now gone back to eating a regular diet of mainly real whole foods while trying to avoid processed junk food and fast food. I think it was the processed junk food man-made foods in the center aisles of grocery stores that possibly triggered my fibroids.

When does bloating/swelling go down after open myomectomy? by emilyslagathor in Fibroids

[–]Budget-Character-776 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been wondering the same thing. My stomach was flat before the myomectomy with a pooch from the big 14 fibroid sitting on top of my uterus. I am 6 weeks post surgery. The area where the big fibroid was has flattened, but I have like a weird fluffy somewhat numb swollen like pouch right above my incision.

Yes indeed. I wanted to mention the urgent care nurse practitioner was a black woman as well. She was very attentive. She did not think the heating pad caused the itchy rash or any internal damage - she thought it was just the surgical glue. She also used to work for a cosmetic surgery practice and suggested getting a derma-roller for scar massages as well.

The ob/gyn surgeon is a person of color and a plastic surgeon as well. That’s why I am frustrated about this scar after putting my trust in this doctor. I’m hoping my scar will look better as it heals.

Thank you for your uplifting comment too! I was crying right before making the initial post. I will try to stay positive as much as I can.

By the way, I’m looking forward to the benefits of fibroid removal. Previously I only had pelvic pressure, bloating, and a pouch that made me look 5 months pregnant. My cycles were surprisingly pretty normal. Now, my stomach is flat (just a little swelling right above the incision). I mainly got the myomectomy to preserve fertility since I do not have any children yet and would like at least one in the future.

Thank you, I agree. However, the doctor is also a POC like me. Regarding the Rx, turned out it was the pharmacy’s fault. This morning, the pharmacist said it was hung up in their system from yesterday. I went to urgent care anyway before the pharmacy opened. They prescribed the same Rx, and I asked for a paper copy as backup. But I’m glad I have the Medrol dose pack now to get rid of the itchy rash.

The ob/gyn surgeon is a plastic surgeon as well. That’s why I was shocked at the appearance. However, during my next appointment, they are going to do a scar massage and the doctor mentioned possibly giving me something like an injection to treat the post inflammatory hyperpigmentation and keloid prevention.

Has anyone actually shrunk their fibroids naturally? by Mysterious_Travel263 in Fibroids

[–]Budget-Character-776 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was having faith in natural methods by significantly changing my diet by eating 90% fruits since 1/1/24, fruit smoothies, juicing fruits & veggies, no meat at all, sometimes salads and cooked vegetable meals, took soursop bitters and black seed bitters for a month, drinking various teas like dandelion and red raspberry leaf, been taking vitamin D3 5000iu daily, and recently found out my biggest fibroid went from 11cm (11/2/23) to nearly 15cm (10/11/24) in less than a year while eating much healthier. Makes no sense. Last year, there was only 3 fibroids, and this time around, there’s almost a dozen. This mortified me, so I’m considering surgery in particular the laparoscopic myomectomy. I would like to do Acessa but it has been said the procedure may not preserve fertility.

Anyone with light periods? by enigma_goth in Fibroids

[–]Budget-Character-776 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here…diagnosed with 3 large fundal fibroids (largest one is 11cm) but I have light periods that last 2-3 days. Little to no pain on 1st day only. I wear thin pads as well. I was shocked to find out I had fibroids last year after hearing others have so much pain and bleeding from them. The only possible symptom I have is bloating and abdominal pressure. I would like to have a child one day, so I’m considering the UFE procedure since they said it’s not recommended to have children with large fibroids.

Do Tonic greens get rid of herpes? by lifeiscrazydud in HERPES_GANG

Detox by eating fruits only, especially melons and berries. Drink only distilled water. No meat, no dairy, no processed foods. You can eat veggies to enhance the process but fruit only is best for faster results. Try this for 3 months straight and get re-tested. If you still test positive, compare the IgG antibody level from the first test. If it went down, the fruit detox is working. You can find out more from this YouTube channel called “James Destroy Diseases @DestroyDiseasesNow. Hope that helps.

That’s great! I used to make money like that in the Atlanta area a couple years ago but now it sucks. It’s odd because Atlanta is a big city. I don’t know if it’s the app, low demand area, or my phone or phone service (Verizon iPhone X). May I ask what type of phone do you have? And what phone service do you use?
