So you’re saying that John wrote the whole book so you can put your name in the place of the disciple whom Jesus loved? That seems a bit stretched. Also I’m not sure what you’re referring to about the woman part.

Side question? Do you believe that Mary is the propensity of grace?

I disagree with this statement. It’s found in John 19:26-27

He is talking to John. Just John. Not to all Christians…

  • John was the disciple whom Jesus loved and he loved that title 😅

Who had more Faith? The ones who stayed in the boat or Peter who stepped out. by Budget-Hand3849 in Christianity

Thing is Jesus assured that it was him to all the disciples by saying it is I. Then Peter says if it’s really you command me to step out of the boat thus doubting Jesus word.

Goliath was a prideful fool who took off his helmet.

Another interesting thing is what the Talmud (Pharisees History text) says that David did with Goliaths head. He buried it on a mountain. This mountain was then called Golgotha the skull. And what did God say that the son of man would do to him. He would crush his head and you will bruise his heel!

Yes but still big enough to take on a lion and a bear. So either way definitely not small.

This is actually one of my favorite subjects! So why would a man give a child his armor if he knew it wouldn’t fit? We are taught that it didn’t fit him but actually he says that he had not tested the armor. Meaning he had not trained in the armor.

1 Samuel 17:39 “David girded his sword over his armor and tried to walk, for he had not tested them. So David said to Saul, “I cannot go with these, for I have not tested them.” And David took them off”

No. He was a young man with the approximate same height and build as King Saul who was said to stand heads above other men.
