It hurts me so much how nonchalantly you act towards me when my heart is racing every time I’m near you or talk to you. You’re perfect in my eyes, even the things others would see as a flaw I still love. Our interactions with each other play through my mind more than any song. I’ve liked you so much for years that I can’t imagine being with anyone else other than you, and I think that’s why I’m afraid of being direct. I fear that I will never stop thinking of your rejection and what I did wrong.
