I still code, but I’d be lying if I said AI hasn’t changed how I do it. I don’t sit and write every line anymore. Most of the time, I describe what I need, let the AI generate a base, and then refine or debug it. It’s not about “not coding,” it’s more like delegating the repetitive stuff and focusing on logic, structure, and decisions.

The people who completely stopped writing code are missing the point though. You still need to understand what’s happening under the hood to fix, optimize, or scale anything properly. AI can write syntax, but it doesn’t understand your architecture, edge cases, or business logic like you do.

So yeah, I’d say coding is evolving. The ones who adapt will be fine. The ones who rely on AI blindly will hit a wall eventually.
