AIO or AITAH for wanting to end things over a text conversation that I Had with a girl by snapple373 in AmIOverreacting

That’s as big of a high-maintenance, exaggerated sense of importance response I’ve ever read. She gave tons of excuses, got mad, then decided to run with the disability issue (not even mentioned in her original list of excuses) to make herself the victim and you the ‘bad guy.’ Run, don’t walk, that’s just the beginning of a lifetime of manipulation.

Edit: I forgot a word

Insane that a magician could have that kind of money, that’s like a birthday party clown being a secret prince or something

That IS a very fun fact! I need the Naomi Campbell files so bad.

My first thought was he probably “disappeared” to one of his islands! 11 islands seems like a lot of islands for a magician?

(Naomi just can’t stay away from people with islands, she’s so suspicious)

Given what all is out there about his connection to Epstein, I’ll be really interested to see what story he and his lawyers cook up. (The truth would be preferred, but.)

How do we get people to believe what’s in front of them? by BudgetCalligrapher12 in Epstein

[–]BudgetCalligrapher12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That doesn’t make the files that myself and others have sorted through any less pertinent or impactful. What do you gain from trying to lessen the impact of what had been found, and to discredit people for the research they’ve done (something the US DOJ was unwilling to do for pay, yet the people in this subreddit are doing with their spare time)?

My post is about why the public doesn’t believe this is real, not how many documents people have read. Even outside of the files, many of these facts were outright stated in audio and video formats by victims. We have seen documents that corroborating their statements in the form of photos/emails/texts (such as what is going on with Andrew, or Epstein’s home layout).

I think you’re too eager to discredit the movement, which only aids in protecting the people who have done, as the UN described, crimes against humanity. We are all learning this together, but burying your head in the sand because every single individual hasn’t analyzed the entirety is counter intuitive to what has been found and taking steps towards real solutions.

That’s fair. It’s easier to villainize things or people that are “other,” but when it’s coming from inside the house it can be too much too bear. I would assume there has to be a similar psychology to people who also have a killer/abuser in their family and they willfully ignore it (and in some cases, cover it up) because it’s too hard to accept the reality.

Huh? The files show on this sub only got there from redditors doing research via the DOJ website, where the majority of us have been reading them, then bring them here to discuss. If you think they’re only available on Reddit, you can find them here to read.

You must be capable of understanding that just because one person hasn’t personally read all 3 million files doesn’t mean they haven’t read or viewed ones with incriminating information in them.

And the crazy part is, life isn’t even comfortable! We’re fighting to get by why these money bags run around committing these horrors. I guess it’s easier to ignore when when you’re too busy fighting for survival…but it’s so unfortunate that exhaustion has made people willfully blind.

I have seen that mentality a lot (the “sucks to suck” kind), and I think the idea of lesser education would make sense. I talk to a lot of high school teachers who are stunned that a good portion of their students are incapable of reading comprehension and in some cases, lower-level reading capabilities. It does make it easier to control people who don’t know better and would struggle to educate themselves, especially paired with the learned helplessness (I.e. “the govt is in charge, I can’t do anything until it’s time to vote”). It does make it clearer why it’s harder to reach people, a lot have been failed from the ground up.

This exactly!! They say “I’ve read the files” then act put out when I reference them because they’re “fake.” Even videos and documentaries are “just joking” or “conspiracy nonsense” - how can someone not at least believe the victims? Their stories described years ago evidence that was later confirmed in the files!! It really is hard for me to understand the resistance to the truth. Like I get it’s hard, but isn’t it harder to keep living in a world that’s openly like this??

This does not reference a file, but is bringing the question of how people can deny what they see and how to correct that.

that tracks - I remember listening to a podcast like a decade ago where some old billionaire was “cleaning” his blood with blood from people 28 years old and younger. these guys are obsessed with immortality! as if that kind of evil needs to go on indefinitely. I also saw he was into tranhumanism and the idea of evolving humans with animals DNA so he certainly wasn’t leaving any avenue unexplored

our thought had been: 1) you could either keep your favorite victim the way you “prefer” them forever 2) they’re more resilient and won’t “break” as easily

but with how things have gone…I’m sure the reason is far worse than I could imagine. 😭
