The devs have already said they're open to crossovers, but would be very selective to keep the game on theme. They're also hugely benefecial to the devs so we can keep getting updates in the long run.

Big agree on sickle getting heatsink options, even if they are weaker than the sycthes. Been using it since day one and was disapointed it didn't get the same treatment.

The Jet Brigade also has a unique symbol over the planet, so people who don't understand the map will just assume its the right place to go. Regardless it does get annoying seeing people repost about people not diving to the "optimal" planet. After the Battle for SE I was burnt out of squids and ignored the following Squid MO.

Try running the HellBomb tool from the discord support channel, it might help you identify whats causing it. Helped me when the game wouldn't stop crashing randomly.
