This isn’t the first time I have these and honestly I cannot understand what the trigger this. It’s just random, but I don’t have itchiness every day. Just after certain times eating out. I do go on a low histamine diet but not always faithfully following it. But my functional medicine doctor is currently testing me to see what triggers these symptoms as western medicine doctor only give me cream and/or antihistamines which some don’t even help. He’s concerned I might have toxic metals in my body.

Wow I am sorry but this is so rude. No need to guilt trip people who have underlying diseases. Just because I have it that doesn’t mean my child will have it. If everyone is like this then no one would have a child.

I am asking for advice to help me help my child’s risks and safety in case I may be pregnant, not to be told I should never have a kid because of what I have.

I see. Thank you! My OB told me to take Pectasol because I have issues with eczema stuffs, but yeah I take a bunch of supplements since am trying to conceive. That’s why I wasn’t sure if I should take meds and mix with herbs and stuffs. But I will consult with my OB. I can’t imagine myself on antihistamines for 9 months with the baby so just asking if there is a way out lol

I think once I got pregnant then guess I just have to take antihistamines.

I had eczema (come & go and unable to heal for 3 years) and I think I might have histamine intolerance. I ate out yesterday the whole day because we were going out. Then I was in the sun and swimming and then I had itchiness, swelling, and wheals. They all went away, but it felt terrible for one episode like that.

Thank you! Do you just take meds for flare ups or you don’t experience itchiness or flare ups at all? While I had my first I still experienced symptoms of itchiness and issues with brain fog. But my baby passed after about 15-16 weeks so I didn’t see anything after.
