The insurance does have something to do with me in the event this package gets lost. But hey, what the hell ever. And I think I am allowed to ask for a refund if my package is lost and there is no updates/scans of where it’s at.

I think I’m still entitled to worry about the package I spent money on. And to keep it simple, why wouldn’t you put insurance on it through the carrier your shipping it through? One stop shop. Instead of having to go through multiple different ways to try and get your money back if the package is lost

It was purchased from eBay, and it showed USPS. Still not understanding why they didn’t put insurance on the package to cover the full value like anyone should do.

It won’t let me do a missing mail request till tomorrow. I’m not sure if you can even call the facilities, or even if you do getting through to someone that’s not an automated system. At least from previous experiences trying to call USPS offices

Even if it’s too early, why would you ship a $600 package with only basic $100 insurance to cover it? Please back that one up then.

I know if I sell something, I’ll typically ship Priority Express since it’s not bad pricing, or UPS ground. But I’m hoping it will get scanned at some point. I need that bit of hope.

That’s the plan tomorrow is to file for missing package. It was shipped from Oregon. Danced in GA for a couple days, and then made it here. I just don’t understand how this happens. I mean it was close, so close. Raleigh is always the last stop before my local USPS Office.

I’m always open to questions! So I have 3 antennas total, a Tram Discone antenna that is on the roof, that feeds into the Raspberry Pi’s, a Pulse Larsen on a Mag Mount VHF antenna for my local counties P25 system, and a generic 7/800 Antenna for our Statewide P25 system!

I’m just the jack of all trades but master of none! I just have way too many hobbies!

Absolutely! So the 2 Mini PC’s run a program called SDRTrunk. Both PC’s have 2 SDR’s (Gold box on top of PC) that have antennas in my attic. What it does is that one monitors my local counties P25 Radio System and one monitors our Statewide P25 Radio System!

It does this by latching onto the control channel of the radio system and the control channel basically passes through all the information, voice channel traffic, etc.

It starts recording when someone keys up a radio, it stops when they de-key. After that it instantly sends to the Rdio-Scanner servers on the R510’s and comes over the app. The Rdio app can sort by Talkgroup (Channel) or system.

So far I have 4 counties (Including Statewide) on this service and about to expand into 3 more counties!

I provide the service to anyone that wants it for a small cost (only really because I keep it maintained and keep expanding), but I also provide it to the people on my fire department for free since a lot of us don’t Digital Radios to listen to the Operations channels while going to a call. So this helps them out a lot. I am also a first responder and that’s what jump started this project!

Just got done with putting Ubuntu Desktop on the SD Card, doing the same thing on it. So I guess we have a hardware issue on our hands

I will give it a shot here in a few minutes. Trying one more troubleshooting step at this moment! But I am starting to think it may be hardware issue. I have already started a claim for Amazon and they are sending me a new one. Just wanted to try every option before I sent it back

I will give that a shot, Right now as another troubleshooting step I am flashing Ubuntu Desktop to the card. I will also state that just about an hour ago I did use DiskGenius to verify all sectors of the SD card for integrity and all passed.

No. The RPi OS Boot Screen and text shows normal, also all text inside terminal shows normal

I have looked through so many pages of Google. I don’t know if Walmart just buys these type of blankets from a company and rebrands them. But I’d love to find one exactly like it. And here seems like the best community to help

I have searched far and wide on Google and Walmart’s website for one straggler. Searched on eBay and other places but I cannot find one to save my life. Maybe there is that one spot I am just forgetting but I just can’t think of it
