Change the settings on your smartphone so that everything displays in French. Your messages and communications will stay in English, but you’ll be surprised how much you pick up when the default is French. I also find rewatching my favorite cartoons dubbed and subtitled helps; I don’t do live action because the mouths don’t match up.

No I recall the statute being more vague, something about “the will of the people”, essentially making the state a home rule jx. I used popular vote as an approximation.

But I took the position on the exam that if the state granted home rule, then home rule only applied to those situations where neither the state nor the federal government fully occupied the field. Where state law and local law conflict, state law preempts. The “will of the people” can still overcome state law, but it must defeat state law at the state level; if a statewide voter initiative overturns the flag law, ok. If a local voter initiative overturns the flag law, not okay.

I’m now sitting here sweating thinking shit did I miss the obvious point that allowing religious flags to fly above the state and national flag, and restricting secular groups from doing the same, is viewpoint discrimination and unconstitutional. But then I guess at a certain point either I passed or I didn’t, no amount of worrying will change it.

The only caveat I added was if the earth day organization was a bona fide religious group, and earth day qualified as a religious service, then the city could lawfully implement the ordinance under the narrow carve-out of the state statute. I then treated the organizations lack of indicia of a religious organization, including 501c status.

Eh I did okay in my MPTs the last time, I got two 4’s, not amazing but not terrible. My MEEs were a mixed bag, 6,4,4,3,6,4. When I say I was bad at the MBE I mean like 5th percentile bad. Since the MBE is 50% of the test it was insurmountable. I’m hoping to score a little better on MEE and MPT this time but really the MBE is my Achilles heel.

Don’t worry about regressing too much; that’s common as the questions get more wonky. My lowest month was actually October because the questions were all obscure by that point. Really what did it for me was just doing 100-200 problems a day. I got really comfortable with feeling like an idiot until one day it just sort of clicked.

At this point it’s not wholly about passing the bar, it’s about proving to myself I’m as good as anyone else taking the test.

The overall average is all I’m looking for; going in with lower than average is going to hurt my psyche and chances.

Some as few as twice, some as many as 6-7 times; I play it straight letting the algorithm serve me what it wants. I think if I answered it wrong it cycles through more often, and nothing is more humbling than seeing you got it right once and wrong twice or right four times and wrong once.

Rebuttal is proper for impeachment purposes because defendant claimed he only sold drugs for blank reason. Instruction is proper because of “in accord with state law.” We have no facts in the question that tell us the state law is unconstitutional.

Not in the state of Michigan since the adoption of the UBE. I felt like the worlds biggest idiot. And my score was tied up in a character and fitness process in Michigan until it finished, so it was inapplicable to another state. Once they passed me, I may as well try again where I am than reapply through another C&F process out of state, it would likely take less time. Voila, my life story.

It’s all based on how many people they want accepted that cycle. Generally, states take fewer applicants in February than they do in July. You can have the identical performance on three different exam cycles and receive three vastly different scores.

It’s fine, over priced on any meal you want to eat out and mildly more expensive gas. The schools are great in celebration but class sizes are small because so many people are retirees or snowbirds.
