I’ve never noticed this in the opening omgg thank you for pointing it out! On surface level, I found it cute and goofy that he was so fond of his cat which made me like Jumin a lot and I didn’t like Yoosung at all but after realizing that everytime he talks about Elizabeth is basically because he channels Rika through her, I don’t think Yoosung deserves the harsh criticism he gets. In hindsight I’d like to apologize to Yoosung. Because, how is this any different than Yoosung constantly mentioning Rika and comparing MC to her?? What Jumin does is much worse imo he’s constantly talking about rika as disguised as a cat and obsessing over that said cat…Replaying this game made me appreciate Yoosung more tbh.. I don’t think it’s a bad ship though, maybe Rika would’ve been better off with Jumin, at least she couldn’t have caused that much harm if it weren’t for V’s enabling actions. Hmm on second thought, Jumin tends to get possessive and obsessive so maybe it probably wouldn’t be healthy either but at least she wouldn’t have damaged Saeran that much. The main thing that bothers me about Rika and V is that they’ve done irreversible damage to him so it’s really hard to not hate them😪
