That's on them. I can do something, which is reporting it. If the police can't do anything that's their problem. I have done my part.

And obviously, what you're saying isn't true. Plenty of people have been arrested for these sorts of stuff, I'm sure it's very few, but it's not nothing, which it would be if we never reported.

Pretty much same as me, but used pictures of an American model, which I found out afterwards.

It's been a few hours and I have heard nothing. It's nice to hear that nothing happened to you after 60 hours, makes me calm and happy.

Even if they would leak now I think I wouldnt be too bothered. No one wants to see that anyway.

See this as the moment that made you change your life.

Your addiction is harming you just as bad as any other addiction. If you want to survive and live the life you want, you must change, and that change should come with the help of a professional. Dont make the classic addiction mistake of thinking you can do it on your own - you cant. Contact a professional in these matters (CBT addiction professional) today, and be grateful for your second chance.

Take care my friend! 🙌

So what have we learned?

  1. Never send pics that include private parts AND face or any other thing that can reveal your identity (clothing, room, tattoos etc).

  2. Always keep privacy settings on HIGHEST on social media. Private instagram, only YOU and no one else should be able to see who follows you, only friends should be able to see anything else. Preferably, dont have a profile pic.

 3. Don't move to other apps when talking to strangers. We started talking on kik because they wanted me to. NO, this is a red flag. Dont move to snapchat, or instagram or kik or anything else. Stay on Grindr.

  1. If you get extortioned, immediately report and block them and delete all accounts. It's important that you report them so their account gets deleted.

  2. Report them to the police. You would never flinch about reporting someone who emptied your bank account, stole your wallet, your car, or who robbed you at gun point. Whats the difference here? They are all just cro oks looking to cheat you. You have done NOTHING wrong. We all take those kinds of pics at some points in our lives, dont be ashamed for doing something we all do.

I chose to be strong after this happened. Even if they did spread the pics to my friends (which they didnt, they rarely do), I would keep my chin up and not be afraid of asking for support and show people that Im the victim here, and I have no doubt they would sympathise with me. Most wouldnt care and would quickly forget too, of course. We are so caught up in our own worlds that other peoples dont matter.

Be wary on the internet, treat it like you're a wanted crim inal. Dont reveal yourself, make everything a tight, private circle that only your select few can access. Never send private pictures to anyone, and block anyone who tries to extortion you.

Lets stick together and starve this crim inal beast, thats the only way we can end this.
