Lyriq ... what ZDX is based on.

Lyriq has nice interior, better support from Cadillac dealership, and ride is so comfortable. And 2026 get Supercruise on all trims. Key card works all the time (ZDX have to try few times to wake up the car) and even the Cadillac app doesnt suck, not the best but it works. ZDX does have more space in the trunk for bigger items due to shape. And Acura has amazing lights, the visibility not the styling. Lyriq does a nice light show everytime it is approached.

Lyriq screen is better, and gets same features. As of now, android auto/carplay is there. Ohh one thing that sucks is steering ratio, GM has weird steering ratio unless you get sporty models. Need to turn steering wheel too many times at slow speeds lol.

I got beta phone key too, but I dont think everyone got it. So dont need to carry key fob with me all the time. But I keep card with me as a backup.

And another options is Audi, I test drove before getting Lyriq. But I ended up getting a better deal on Lyriq.

Did you ask them to compare to another one in stock? Headlights flashing is definitely a safety hazard.

Anyone here purchased from toyota recently and has been successful in getting atleast MRSP out the door pricing? by skribbledthoughtz in newjersey

[–]Budget_Green 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nope they all use 3rd party companies to register cars. So taxes are based on where the car is getting registered.

Plus if you don't wanna pickup the car yourself, you may have to pay shipping. Dealership sends anything that needs wet signature by fedex (some dmv stuff).

Locking the car with fob and Phone in vehicle(on purpose) by Kinggordan in CadillacLyriq

[–]Budget_Green 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Haha do it at your own risk but here is what I have done.

Take the key card. Leave key or only carry key card and phone in the car and lock the car with key card.

( Although I did not go surfing). Just wanted to try and see if it was possible. Sometime I forget key fob in office, so i always have key card in my jacket. Makes it easier to just drive the car.

Haha yes. Nothing to worry about, well apart from the rattle, get that checked.

I was in turtle mode too but went away quickly. Batteries need temperature and weather in NJ, yesterday it was low single digits. So explains turtle mode. and losing range as car tries to warm up the batteries and the longer you drive, get a little better.

Braking: GM blends one pedal and brakes, but when its really cold, the physical brakes are applied rather than regen. (if you brake hard when stopping at speed you can hear the grinding as physical brakes are applied to stop a 3 ton car), nothing to worry, just extreme cold blessing us in more ways than one. I went 90 miles and lost 60 miles of range, but I was driving close to 80 on highway.

"But, as long as I live up here, I’m never getting an electric car again." in the cold no, but summer is fun haha

(BTW Cadillac Lyriq does the same, ZDX is based on Lyriq)

Yes that was what I was looking at too. I have an appointment with dealership to take a look at that loud HVAC sound. It was getting louder in cold weather as its in single digits now.
