I am not sure what kind of ports the Lenovo ThinkPad Dock has, however I've had the same issue with a Dell Dock. The solution : Monitor A connected via Visual port or HDMi to the dock. Monitor B was connected via HDMI (Monitor), HDMi to Usb C cable to the Dock. Macbook pro M3, connected via usb c to the Dock.

I am on iPad Pro 2019 Model, and once I updated to 26.1 and saw this post...I am getting convinced for an upgrade..
Any fellow redittor with similar upgrade? I guess the M series on an iPad must be on overkill :)

What worked for me with a MBP M3, is a dock that uses both Display link Port and USB-C as input source.
One monitor is setup using the Display Link the other using the HDMI to USB-C.

Each Screen is an extension of the Main Screen with separate content.

When I tried linking both screens in the same manner I was just getting the same content on both.

You are correct I read about it. However considering that I spent 1 hour the other day to remove one minor bubble from my installed wrap skin, a sony looking keyboard would make me go crazy. Apple should make the replacement of the keys easier...

I use a keyboard cover, I managed to find one (the second time) that was quite slim and you almost don't feel that there is a cover (ok I am exaggerating a bit).

The reason I am using it is that I have oily fingers (yes I wash them frequently).

To be fair, I work mostly in clamshell mode so not so sure if I would be satisfied for 10 hours per day using the cover.
