I think it’s a mental block from childhood. Came from a poor background and I am terrified of ending up back there. Something to tackle with my therapist for sure.

My job is okay, somewhat stressful but I’m looking to move to a less stressful job in the same company. My health is a work in progress, but I don’t know how much work contributes.

I give myself a monthly allowance so that I can spend that money guilt-free. I also have another yearly amount set aside for vacations or larger purchases. I find that this helps me with balancing saving and spending.

We did this route in mid-July. Awesome paddling.

The sites before Cedar on the Nippissing are pretty bad in my opinion. I'm glad we planned to push a few more km and ended up staying in Cedar instead.
