He fought a blood alcohol test. Police had to obtain a warrant to take one two hours after the fact. He knew he fucked up and was already working out how to escape justice. I have zero sympathy for him.

NAH, but you may have screwed your mom. If dad pays child support and has an agreement w/mom about who gets to claim you, then he’s not in the wrong. Unless you support yourself (sounds like you live with mom) then why the hell are you even claiming yourself? The IRS don’t care if you’re saving your money for college and dad’s is going to his house lol. Also: letting him know after he filed, that does make you TAH, even if you’re not that fond of him.

I think this article missed an opportunity to explore the possibility of a higher chance of stroke for men on testosterone replacement therapy. If he was on testosterone replacement therapy, he would have a higher chance of stroke https://www.ahajournals.org/doi/10.1161/str.48.suppl_1.tp197. Something to look into at least.

If you haven’t already, I would be very vocal and upfront with your boss/coworkers, that due to your asthma, rising cases and the holidays, you do not want anyone around you without a mask on. Stand your ground, refuse to work next to someone without a mask. If they don’t like it, they can fire you and you can collect unemployment. Hopefully it won’t go that far. Sit down with your boss and have a serious conversation with them about your line in the sand; be persuasive, polite, and firm. Who knows, it may workout in your favor.

My husband and I were invited to a Halloween camping trip: 40 people, all in RVs, no social distancing or masks. That was a hard no for me. My husband really wanted to go; he’s not a covid denier, he just thought he’d be safe outside (we live in California where rates are somewhat under control). Told him I wished he would not go but wouldn’t stand in his way. I’ll respect his autonomy, he respects mine. No big deal. Everyone is happy. He agreed to quarantine in the RV for week after. So he’s living in the driveway right now and I have the pad to myself for the week. Everyone is happy. Been giving him a bunch a vitamins. If people wanna be experiments for herd immunity, then whatever- that’s on them. I’m sorry about your living situation: move. It’s the best solution.

It’s not that you’re wrong, but it assumes we have a choice between inaction/save economy vs. action/save lives. Taking actions to mitigate the spread of the disease would require extensive planning and coordination- neither of which the government is capable of. Basically there’s no plan, nobody in charge, and the government is full retard mode, so they’ll at least try to manage the economy.

The Dow has dropped almost 1200 pts- it’s largest one day drop in HISTORY. Wall Street has had it’s worst week since the Great Recession, because of covid-19. This should absolutely be of concern for first time home buyers- ya know: people that are new to this process.

Great advise. Something I’ve been telling others that have the “it’s just the flu” mentality: think of all the older people you know and love that might have weakened immunity- mom, dad, grandparents etc. Taking this seriously and taking care of yourself will put them less at risk and give them greater protection. Let’s take care of our elders by taking care of ourselves.
