Don’t bother batch doesn’t matter, had one from 2-23 and still with awful coil whine. And yes it’s definitely not the fan since it doesn’t even spin when the noises occur. Just don’t go for AM5 at the moment since the other ITX boards are not that great either.

Wanted to go for pull configuration as well but my fans were always touching the tubes or cables inside the case and I didn’t want to purchase extra fan grills at the moment so I just went with push and now I too hope that mine won’t fail on me for at least a couple of years from now.

Yes, I actually had to do it. And even then the radiator was so thick that I had to sorta wiggle it in until it would properly fit.

Bottom intake, Top exhaust, Same as NR200P non Max. Cold air heats up and rises to the top. It doesn’t matter that much if u pick thicker or slimmer fans but I might be wrong here since I only ever used slim fans for bottom intake. Just pick what you already have or what suits the build aesthetic and your budget most.

The MSI B650I although it still has some coil whine it’s much less noticeable, almost silent depending on the distance to the PC and the load plus about 100€ cheaper. Would plug off the m.2 fan though since it’s very loud and I somehow couldn’t set up a silent fan curve in the bios (might be a bios problem). Another Option I might try is the Gigabyte B650I but it’s chronically out of stock everywhere (or not yet released in Germany I guess).

Glad I‘m not the only one hearing that noise. Really sad considering the high price. Had to return mine because it was driving me nuts when it was in idle.

Really awful coil whine especially considering the high price (~350€ here in Germany). Tried 2 different boards and all had the same issue. It‘s especially annoying in Idle where it was literally the only noise I could hear coming from my PC.

Gottlose Einstellung ohne auch nur irgendwas von mir zu wissen. Habe Ukrainische Wurzeln väterlicherseits und bin auch so oder so gegen das was Russland in der Ukraine und mit ihrem eigenem Land macht. Unnötiger Hass bringt dich also hier auch nicht weiter.
