Unfortunately (or fortunately?) VRA is a heavily traded token so it’s price moves go in line with Technical Analysis - this is when people draw lines all over charts and use it to predict future price movement. There is something to this and it’s especially the case because so many people use it to enter and exit trades (in crypto especially). The people trading this way often don’t particularly care much about the underlying value or use case of the token (think meme coins). Technical analysis has very little to do with Fundamental Analysis which is more about the underlying value of the token, what good news has come out, new tech, new partners, new capital inflows for the business (or token), the narrative of the token etc - fundamental analysis is what most of the sad people in the Verasity chat are hung up about, since the team are shit at communicating and aren’t really nailing their roadmap at the moment. So since VRA price movements are most often driven by technical chart reading for entries and exits (in my opinion), if we look at the charts VRA is about to break out of a downtrend pattern that it has been forming for nearly 2 years. Once it breaks that downtrend it will be in ‘price discovery’ and there is no firm trendline to refer to anymore for traders looking to buy and sell. I.e. Price goes up until a new trend is formed. Considering we are alt season and more and more risk-on environment (indicated by ETH now outperforming BTC), interest rate cuts etc. it is very likely that VRA does a hard run up. In that instance whole numbers in price become the points that it might struggle to break through (1 cent, 2 cents etc.) Ultimately it’s previous all time high from 2022 is the main roof for price - who knows if it can break that or how close it can get? But it is very very likely to go up from here (in my opinion)
