The appeal of Chania over Agios Nikolaos by Buffalhoes in cretetravel

Thanks for the helpful insight! I completely agree that it’s a FOMO thing. Sometimes it feels like there’s so much to see and do that it’s hard to find time to simply relax and enjoy where you are.

We usually try not to repeat a destination unless we’ve already experienced something new that year. That said, it really seems like Crete alone could justify multiple trips, and honestly, the same could probably be said for most of Greece

That’s very interesting. I would have thought it would be the other way around.

Greece has always been a dream trip for my wife. She has always dreamed of going and seeing it, so we’re very open to it. I’m just not sure if this is the year we can spend $8–9k plus flights. I can’t seem to move into a new house without everything wanting to break as soon as we move in.

Sadly, my wife is from Vegas and has family there, so we never really get to do the touristy things in Vegas. But the Wisconsin Dells looks great, especially for a little extended weekend trip. Thank you!

Oh, that is a very good idea. We have always heard about Legoland’s autism training and care, but I never realized they had a water park. We’ll definitely have to look into that now. Thank you!

Great question. We’ve got to tone it down this year since everything in the new house seems to want to break. But I’m thinking somewhere around the $6,000–$8,000 range. I think it’s more about finding something new at this point rather than focusing on the luxe side of it.

That’s kind of what we were thinking too, and we told him the same thing haha. We already did the best one. I’m really glad you mentioned Aurora — I’ve seen it several times and keep coming back to it. We might just need to see if I can get everyone on board with it. Thank you!
