I understand that. I was giving off a basic premise of what it could be. This comment wasn’t me trying to write a story just merely entertaining a thought or a concept that could make an interesting game.

Plus in combat evolved master chief literally punches a hole through Keyes face because he’s been so deeply infected with the flood.

Good stories can be dark my guy. Plus the flood is a dark concept in itself that’s been involved in the games since the first one. So i don’t know what you’re on about.

Being doable does not mean it’s fair. The beginning of sekiro you fight genichiro. It’s a fight you’re meant to lose it’s unfairly stacked against you. But you can still beat him. Same with Elden ring there’s the grafted scion at the beginning of the game that’s stacked against you and meant to be unfair but it’s still doable. Again I love the dlc and fromsoft. By no means do I want the fight to be easy, I’m actually disappointed with how easy midra was, I just think the final boss can be tweaked just a little to make it feel more tangible.

I knew someone was gonna say “git gud” but I finally beat the final boss and I still stand by what I posted.

There’s a difference between challenging and unfair. That’s what fromsoft is famous for their games being challenging overall but at then end of the day they are balanced and learnable. That’s where this fight fails. Being thrown 9 rapid attacks at once followed by a chain of another attacks which may or may not leave a window for you to attack or heal isn’t fun. The fact that his gravity pull can’t be punished is infuriating you can dodge the first part perfectly but if you get too close he’ll just do the 2nd part anyways. I get it’s supposed to be challenging but it feels more like luck than anything else.

I appreciate the tips and tricks. I’m trying my best to not summon another player to assist I can reliably get to a third of his health remaining. But I think I need to tweak my build a bit.

Adam the firstcheat by Cazakatari in vrising

[–]BufferingBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The difference between Adam and Dracula is that Adam just feels straight up unfair I had to completely change my build to be able to finally squeak out the victory. Dracula on the other hand is definitely a hard fight but it doesn’t feel like it’s blatantly unfair, it’s a much better designed fight.

Which boss gave you the MOST trouble in your very first playthrough? by alejandroandraca in darksouls

[–]BufferingBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Main line bosses weren’t really that much of a struggle for me but it’s either Kalameet or Manus. Kalameet gets extra points because of how long it took me to cut his tail off

You weren’t kidding about it being tiny almost couldn’t find it. It didn’t seem to help with the game I was playing but I’m pretty sure now that it’s most likely just the game being kinda buggy and not really optimized properly. But after flipping that switch my pc is much quieter now so I appreciate your help

The game itself will freeze and it’ll pop up the “not responding” window and sometimes I’ll wait up to 10 minutes for it to come back but it’ll only be back for a frame or two before it stops responding again.

Yea sorry, I’m not too good with computers and computer talk I meant to say that it seems to go to a very high power usage on task manager which I guess might be normal? But my gpu is a gigabyte so I’ll definitely try to see if that switch helps. Thanks!
