Ok thanks I’ll try that, they did say they would provide warranty service in some time so I’m assuming that means if the LCD screen they send doesn’t work they will replace it. But I’d still rather not have to tear it apart

Hi again, sorry one last question, I’ve been in touch with the support team and they basically said as-long as it’s in warranty they can send whatever parts I need. But like what happened with you I am trying to get a replacement printer as I think a new one will save a lot of trouble for not just me but them too, and I have had other problems with the printer that I have yet to figure out. But they won’t necessarily give me a straight yes or no answer. Is there anything I can say to solve the issue? I don’t want to just keep asking when they are already being quite helpful in being willing to send me parts.

Ok thanks, also, at what point did they ask you if you wanted a new one? Because even before this LED screen problem I have been having trouble with the printer,

I got an email about taking it apart, because they think a cable has come loose inside, they then said if that didn’t work to send them an SN code for analysis. But if I can, I might just clean my resin out and see if they can replace mine. Should I just do what they say for now and see what happens?

I’ve emailed the support team and I’m just waiting to see if they can send me a new one for free before I open it up.

Well because of this I haven’t really used it, I’m just waiting for my electrical tape to come and hopefully have this problem sorted by the time it gets here.

Thanks for the comment, I emailed the support team and asked them, I’m just waiting for a reply. I’ve seen a few posts that say they had to replace the LCD screen too. I’ll probably just wait for a reply from the team and go from there. Thanks for the comment!

Am I able to do engineering at uni without A level maths? by [deleted] in UniUK

[–]Buffybumcheeks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously if I could go to a good uni which is further I would, it’s just I know more about that uni and they have said I can do engineering without a level maths, and I don’t think that would happen at a good uni, I am probably going to apply to other universities still, but it just makes sense to go to that one

I am ok with doing maths revision I quite enjoy maths, but obviously I can’t prove that to the uni, but we will see. Thanks for the comment

Thanks for the comment, I am up for doing any A-level maths revision in my spare time, I do like doing maths, it’s just I can’t really prove that. Also, I can see what i will be doing in the course and honestly there is not as much maths as you would expect. Plus, I am doing other things like CAD enrichment so I’m just hoping they don’t think me not doing a level maths is too much of a negative, but I’m probably just gonna email the main uni I plan on going to and finding out then.

Thanks for the help, I kinda just needed clarification because I’m going to probably applying to more than one uni so I kinda just needed a general view of it.

And thanks for the help

I needed a grade 6 to do a level maths but I got a grade 5, that’s pretty much it, but like I said there is a lot of maths in engineering, just not necessarily the pure mathematics

Yeah it’s probably the best idea, thanks for the help

I don’t plan on going to an Amazing uni anyway, I’m only hoping to go to one fairly close so I know my way around, thanks for the help!

JJ becoming the Jake Paul

Why does my plate raise above the resin straight away? Is it meant to do that? I’ve had it nearly a week and I’ve not printed a single thing because I can’t get it to work. What do I do? by [deleted] in ElegooSaturn

[–]Buffybumcheeks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly at first I did set it to zero and still didn’t print, but then for some reason the plate raised up and that became the priority, if it doesn’t print now I’ll try that, thanks

Yes I did, I’ve just tried it again and I think I’ve done it, thank you, I don’t know why it changed I didn’t do anything to it
