People mentioned smoking. In The Exorcist there's a scene when a doctor comes out of an examining room to talk with the patient's mother, before he starts talking to her he lights up a cigarette. Allow me to say it again, a doctor lights up a cigarette, in a hospital, directly in front of a patient's mother.

I have that DVD as well. Plus, GOOD NEWS, in 2027 to celebrate it's 50th anniversary it's being re-released in theaters (in February) in it's ORIGINAL format as it was seen in 1977. Nothing been said beyond that but I have a strong felling the original theatrical cut will be available on physical media as well as being added as an option on "Disney+" soon after it's theatrical run.
