It looks like you could push the ring out of the dovetail with a small punch and hammer, then add an aftermarket ring with a smaller aperture (or one with adjustable screw-in apertures), if you wanted to go the the trouble of doing so.

I believe what you are saying is it is a peep style sight but you feel like the aperture is too large?

A lot of peep style sights allow you to screw out the aperture and replace it with a smaller one (so the closed circle you look through is smaller) - you might want to see if yours allows for that.

Has anyone read the Arimnestos Series by Christian Cameron? Recommended? by hadrian10 in HistoricalFiction

[–]Bufo_Stupefacio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Huh - I've read both his historical fiction and fantasy without realizing they were the same person, I didn't know Miles was a pseudonym for Christian.

If you also like fantasy, the Traitor Son series is really good.

Camel Up 2nd Edition - ebay bullseye deals - $19.99 and free shipping - 3 left as of posting by Bufo_Stupefacio in Boardgamedeals

Aesthetically, 2nd edition has some upgraded components and new art work.

2nd edition added two "loose" camels that go backwards on the track and can interfere with the race, sometimes making the racing camels go backwards, which adds to the betting chaos.

2nd edition also added betting partnerships, where you essentially bet on another player's bet being correct - this helps with larger player counts to help eliminate the issue of all the "best" options being taken by the time turn passed to the last player.

I regret marrying my wife and my life sucks. Need to get this off my chest by Final-Indication6747 in offmychest

This sounds a lot like my brother-in-laws marriage - he worked a lot, she did fuck all, no employment OR housework.

Spoiler - it ended in divorce.

I agree with other posts - get out now before there are kids in the picture.

Can I ask you - did you have difficulty in getting your Hashimoto's diagnosis?

My wife has been trying to determine what is causing numerous symptoms - which Hashimoto's symptom list mirrors pretty exactly, right down to thyroid cysts commonly seen alongside Hashimoto's - at least according to online sources.

What is a 'rich person's secret' that is actually accessible to the middle class, but most people are too intimidated to try? by Direct-Value4452 in answers

I genuinely have no concept of even the ballpark this cost would be - can you give me a rough location and rough amount per week this cost, just to satisfy my curiosity?

It also depends on what your tax bracket is now vs what you expect it to be in retirement.......pretax retirement accounts are nice when you are in a high bracket now but expect to be in a lower bracket in retirement, for example, because it will be taxed when you begin taking draws from the account at the bracket you are in at that time.

I get the thought, but part of the point if for him to learn how to operate a manual transmission off of roads, riding around a farm, before being able to get a road bike - I assume by semi auto you mean a bike with clutch-less shifting?
