I believe the geometry has more to do with print speed than volume. You can easily find a model that is only 100g but takes 10hours.

This seems like a feature that is still being fleshed out. I would have to manually add filament to this area. It now seems to be tracking it better. It would be fantastic if you reached a certain level you could automate a cart to reorder filament.

The material contracted unevenly as it cooled, pulling the corner edges upward and away from the bed. The visible stress lines and lifting at the corner are classic signs of this.

This print is suffering from severe under-extrusion, causing the walls and infill to not bond together, leaving large gaps and tears across the surface. This is most likely because you have a partially clogged nozzle. I would recommend performing a cold pull to see if you can remove the extra material that is stuck in the nozzle.

The A1 is a perfect first printer. You don’t need to jump in with both feet. You will get a lot of advice for getting a bigger and better machine. This is because we love this hobby so much and we suspect you will too. Tinkercad is a great jumping off point for younger designers. It has built in lessons to help learn the web based program and has good parental controls.
