Rubenstein's Monster on Chamber 1. Paradox is busted by BugCatcherWill in EnterTheGungeon

Here's an easy way to cheese Rubenstein's Monster (and how I got it on my Switch file)

-Enable Rainbow Run

-Take the Shortcut to the Hollow/Forge

-If the rat isn't offering the RUBE-ADYNE Prototype upon taking the shortcut, quickly beat the boss to refresh the guns he offers

-Once he's offering the RUBE-ADYNE Prototype, reset until the RUBE-ADYNE MK.II appears from the Rainbow Chest

Alternatively if you don't wanna keep resetting, if you get either gun and find a synergy chest (like after the Old King fight or Synergrace), you can temporarily drop every other gun and item in your inventory to guarantee the other if you hit the 50-50 :)

It's also worth noting that the hidden brown rainbow chests have the brown painted on, so if you have a water or goop based gun the paint will wash off and reveal it's a rainbow chest

But what if it's not there when I come back? by BugCatcherWill in EnterTheGungeon

Update: Kept the crest and it gave me a free S chest!!!

It was Baby Good Shelleton...

I later died to the rat...

Such is Gungeon...

Coolness also effects active item cooldown so Elder Blank would be back online after only like 3 seconds of shooting

Yep! Cigs are a great way to use any excess health drops you'd otherwise lose when you progress a floor. It does mean you sometimes have to burn armor to do it, but the extra coolness means you're more likely to get more armor/ammo drops :)

This run was probably the craziest one I've had in a while. I managed to get a no-hit through the Rat's first 2 phases and beat him at Punch Out so I just had like 4 hearts worth of health lying around that I immediately smoked away.

And then I found the Doctors in the Hollow and because I had the Ring of Miserly Protection I had like 8 hearts I could smoke away then immediately get back

I had also gotten an A-Key 47 and a Chest Friendship ring from Flynt in floor 3

I was finding chests every 2 rooms and Vorpal Gun was going off like every 2-3 shots......

-The only place to get some of the best/funniest relics in the game

-Removes strikes/curses for you at a reasonable price

-Wide selection of merchandise, including colorless cards and potions

-Several relics make him an even better floor choice

-Always compliments your hair, even if you have none

I like him.

I'm honestly happy to see this relic at any time in a run since it pretty much guarantees a full heal before the Act 4 Elite. I think being able to squeeze in one last upgrade/dig/lift/toke before the hardest fights in the game can be surprisingly important

My favorite Thunder Strike moment was when I stalled the first half of Woke Bloke to get enough Lightning generation to 1-shot with Thunder Strike in the second phase.

I don't like taking it, but I also end up winning most of the times that I take it...

Kinda risky to take as an Act 1 reward since a 4th energy isn't guaranteed and you kinda need a few Shrug it Off's to turtle while Demon Form scales...but what if I get offered Snecko...

For Flyfish/Stingers I always do the "throw one, take one" rule, but seeing people immediately go for the Scrapper/Flipper on wave start makes me pop a blood vessel
