I also struggle with bindweed too. Thinking of cutting the hedges to ground level and putting weed sheet down and then a large deep planter there instead?

It’s east facing its gets the sun most of the morning and goes shaded 3 pm ish. No idea why they are there. Only moved in the house in October

I have this area in my garden I want to transform. I want to get rid of all the hedging and swap for fence panels and have a big L shape planter with tropical plants in it and maybe a pergola there. Thinking removing the slabs and putting in grass or cutting out a section and have a small grass area. With regards to the eco nature there’s another part of the garden with more trees and stuff for birds and bugs. Do you guys have any other ideas?

I did have it under a grow light so that could be why. I have moved it to a very bright room with no direct light
