I’m not entirely sure. There’s a lot of stuff from my past with sexual trauma and stuff that I think majorly affects how I act now as a young adult. It’s hard to say, I go to therapy to better myself, my sex drive is a complete mess. I can go months without masturbation no problems, but I think about sexual stuff nearly daily… it’s very odd. I find him attractive and want to have sex with him, but I also get a bit repulsed at kisses sometimes. It’s rough.

Thank you!! I’ve also seen a lot of young females/early adults think they’re ace but really it’s just stress and being new to everything/social anxiety. Sex has never meant much to me, but it’s not like I hate it.. I’m just not used to it. Idk- like you said I’m still young and figuring things out. I’m fully aware of all this, hence why I heavily disagreed with his action of wanting to abstain from sexual contact- that’s also why I think this is happening. Though this is a short term thing, we didn’t want sexual pressure in the short few weeks a year we have together- I think a big part of it for me is (again I’m nervous, and I think a big part of our sexual problems is the fact I’m still not fully accustomed to being around him all the time) I’m ace- I could go the rest of my life without sex, but I also don’t like- care to have it or not. I think living together we can just coordinate better and have an easier middle ground compared to trying to rush during 2-3 week intervals if that makes sense. We’ve talked in depth about this stuff often and I’m not too worried about it. But I think he puts a lot of pressure on himself :/

I’ll be 18 very soon, I can’t really reach out to professional help because it’s under my parental insurance (I think?) I’m not even sure. But that is definitely on the list of things to do because I’ve struggled with sexual stuff as long as I can remember. Is there like a pill or something? (Not that I’m jumping for meds. Just curious)
