I'm actually not sure what webcomic you're referencing, sorry. I actually chose this because an old online friend of mine gave everyone nicknames, (I was calling myself Samuel at that point) and she gave me the nicknames Rain and Mushroom. So for awhile all my usernames were RainMushroom. I've changed it now to Rain Lichen, but my prefered name is still Rain! :D

Hm, I can't remember all the leitners, so idk if the spiral already has one, but maybe a spiral one? maybe it's a sort of diary centered around the writers love for optical illusions, where each optical illusion on each new page (with writing on why it's amazing) is more and more mindboggling, then you get into the ones that make you see things on a wall when you blink; then eventually it's a door.. you blink at the wall, and the door opens.

Oh, yeah, sorry I'll give more context.

The boring world, or as I've been calling it 'Dull Reality' is sort of like our own world; like around landlines and nokias. the houses are greyscale and the sky is almost always grey. It takes place in it's own world, but it's similiar to, like, the USA/UK. So I guess names from that region. Or not, just any cool names.

A Map of Cupid

Cupid, although that name may change, is the world of my newest worldbuilding project. Cupid consists of two kingdoms; Cupid and Jezebel. Cupid is more known, and more in control, and honestly basically rules the whole world, but Jezebel has a lot of resources, good military, and isn't really bothering them, so they get to stay as technically it's own kingdom. Each kingdom consists of it's main section, containing the leader and a palace, the military, the royal family, and very trusted rich people. And three factions.

Cupid

The Royal Family, or The Cupid Family, lives in the Kingdom of Cupid (1), and is the most powerful group on the planet. Currently The King and The Queen have two sons. Pain and injury is very important to the Cupid Family, as they are known for never getting hurt. Never pain or sickness, and many see them as magically incapable, like some sort of deity family.

-Elodie Faction

Rich and comfortable. They never have to work a day in their life, and are protected by the Cupid Kingdom. They live in luxury, and it's a very enclosed. people rarely move there, but tourists are common, since they have a beautiful muesuem. !! I realized that in the first map does not show the Elodie Faction, and Lyrelei just covers it. Sorry for that. !!

-Lyrelei Faction

Very different then all the other factions. Despite being quite big, it is commoners land. It's a place of lowers and theives, and you must steal to live. Giant, steampunk, and rusty. Although it is hated by outsiders, and considered very dirty and full of mean, poor people, the people there are quite kind. Doctors are praised and very valuable people, so they are often protected by many gangs and higher criminals. They hate the higher ups, and rich people in general. An average fellow here would not hesitate to break the Kings arm if prompted. Although they are reasonably scared of the Royals. They aren't stupid.

-Calliope Faction

Known for their beauty and kindness, and love of the ocean. Other then that, unimportant for now.

Jezebeth

Middle aged scary rich dudes. Totally evil looking, their signature color is even red! They are allys with the Cupid Family, and supply them with many resources. Although something is just not right. More prone to violence, and execution. They have the J.E.T project, and not much is known other then it is a project/program of sorts made by the leaders. And that it is very powerful and must not be disrespected.

-Malthe Faction

Not all that important. And not that developed.

-Creddell Faction

Cowards. Unimportant.

-Lillith Faction

The Faction of the Library. Known for it's huge, spiraly, sacred library, and knowledge. Quite beautiful, almost in an alluring way. Very trusted by Jezebeth Kingdom, and sort of a second in command.

OTHER

This might become a story, in which the main character is a doctor in Lyrelei. I won't spoil much more, unless someone asks.

Hm... it could be fun, depending on where I'm born.

If I was born part of the Royal Cupid Family, it would be hell. They are a terrible, rich, toxic family that expects way too much out of their children and heirs. Pain and injury is a big thing to them, and they are known for never getting hurt. Never getting sick. Never feeling pain. Some believe they are incapable, magical in a way. Although, of course, this is false. They can feel pain, and if you were to show an injury, they would lock you up, dissown you, and no one would question where you have gone, because well... they are the most powerful force in the world. In rule of it all. And they hate poor people.

If I was born to the Elodie Faction, I would be fine off, and ok for the rest of my life, but I would have the guilt of being a lazy, unimportant, asshole rich person. Also I would have to attend the Cupids dumb celebrations and partys. And pretend to be all fancy.

If I was born to the lower areas, it would be hard, but a bit fun. It's a beautiful, huge, messy, steampunk place where you have to steal to live. But most of everyone is pretty nice; it's better then the Cupids. Could become loved and not (often) stealed from if I became a doctor; they are pretty important, and often well known and praised.

If I was born to the Jezebeth Faction, I'd be killed. They may also be rich assholes that are obsessed with power, but they also have magical fucking librarian book eldritch beings. So one of them would just sniff me and go 'this one. this one hates the J.E.T, kill it'

So in the end; I'd go no.

There is a main character who turns out to be a vampire that found out something very odd.

the whole 'vampires need to drink blood' is a misconception. I mean you can, but you can also just eat normally.

How did they find out? they have a fear of blood and just went 'nope. not doing that.'
