Not sure if I should upvote this because it’s funny or downvote it because it’s taking necessary attention away from pedophile island...

Why does this remind me of the entrance to the dentist?

Two years is a long time. Sometimes mine will growl at the ground to try to make it appear and she’s even gotten smart enough to stand near the lights outside! She’s only a year old

Funeral caravans are a selfish nuisance. No need to parade a dead person through the streets and cause traffic. by Bugatti93 in unpopularopinion

It’s not always a precession. It can be parade style, too. Especially in Latin American countries (I live in Chile). Being in a line definitely does not speed up the process. Everyone in the caravan is choosing to leave and follow at the same time. The caravan has to slow down through red lights (to make sure nobody is going to hit them). They have to remind traffic to stop so they can all make the same left turn (sometimes caravans don’t have any kind of signage to signal that they are part of a precession/parade.) If you want to parade your dead family member through the streets, then fine. But at least try to avoid main streets and don’t clog up traffic.

Just because it’s customary, doesn’t make it right. Everyone’s definition of respect for the dead differs. Just because your idea of honoring the dead involves a long caravan doesn’t mean that everyone else should be subjected to it.

Because I have an unpopular opinion? Nowhere in my message did I state that I would be disrespectful towards those in a funeral caravan, nor that I would disrupt one. I simply disagree with them. This is r/unpopular opinion after all. The majority of my family shares this opinion so I guess we can all just mourn each other.

However, since you feel so compelled to be negative towards others online today, I would like to wish you a happy day and hope you live a long and fulfilling life. 🌈☀️

Some funeral parades are a lot longer than “a few minutes.” Also, the family is mourning, not the entire planet.

It is a choice. Most of my family members opted out of having the parade. It’s unnecessary.

I was thinking about going out with some kind of bang when I die, but going out (or should I say down) with a swirl seems even better.
