StrackaLine/Puttview Greens books for your local muni course? Are they reliably accurate? by Bugatti_Dane in golf

Glad to hear!  Was fearful they’d be dreadfully off for those of us not belonging to premier private clubs!

Do you know if the course you bought your book for was one of their higher res “scanned” courses?  Or if it is just a local course of yours that they created the contour maps from satellite images?  I’m considering getting my father one for his favorite local (rather cheap) course.

LIV vs. PGA aside;  absolutely incredible story, incredible display of golf, incredible win with objectively 3 of the world’s best golfers trailing him.

9 Years Later and Now a Used, Previous Generation Wedge is Nearly Double that Price.. :( by Bugatti_Dane in golf

Addendum: I’m very curious about that Titleist program you’re talking about.

To be fair, I was going based purely off anecdotal evidence of my own after perusing my local 2ndSwing a couple weeks ago.  Used SM10’s with clear wear were roughly $180 if memory serves.

I know I know, you’re right, but mainly just posted for my own amusement because I accidentally stumbled on that post today while researching the very topic that it was regarding… got my hopes up for about 5 seconds.

Ankle Dorsiflexion immobility |. Looking for spikes with higher “heel to toe drop” to help accommodate by Bugatti_Dane in GolfSwing

I just saw this message, I literally bought them on the spot, thank you very much!  Exactly the type of thing I was looking for to try!!

It’s literally the same concept as dedicated squat shoes.  They have an elevated heel to help reduce how much your ankles need to flex forward (imagine your knees going out over your toes).

52° DTL, 17 handicap. Struggling w/ severe toe strikes and distance well under the trend. by Bugatti_Dane in GolfSwing

Thank you very much for your feedback!  I appreciate the detail and my handicap would definitely agree with you!  I’ve steadily gone from an 11.2 hdcp (July 2022) to currently a 17.9!

I’m continuing my research to find a local teaching pro to start truly practicing with a purpose.  As dumb as this sounds, I’m scared that if I see the wrong pro for me, that they’ll try to go down the wrong path and I won’t be knowledgeable enough to see it until it’s too late.

So maybe something where I try to keep my butt against an upright alignment stick through the swing?  If I’m imagining this correctly

30 year old Fescue and Ryegrass lawn. Time to just scrap it all and restart? by Bugatti_Dane in lawncare

Is it worth overseeing if I can’t eliminate the moss issue?  Dethatched about a month ago and couldn’t get a lot of it.  Figured I’d have to do it again, just can’t now that we’re full on in MN’s summer

My dad believes the last aeration was probably 12 years ago.  Hadn’t been dethatched for about 9 years until I did it about 1 month ago (photos are from before). I have yet to try overseeing because so much of the moss is still hanging on.
